Les Mis Tribute

I haven't been able to see the movie yet but I love this musical. It has always been one of my favorite. I saw my Aunt Mari do this and she took my go to song ON MY OWN and since I don't have a male vocalist with me I can't do LITTLE FALL OF RAIN so I will be singing I DREAMED A DREAM. I hope you like it.

Christmas at the Babbitt's

Happy New Year everyone! Life is getting busy once more but just wanted to show y'all our first Christmas in Germany. I took lots of pics :)

Our Christmas Tree and stockings. I decided that our presents would have special wrapping paper. Mine was Winnie the Pooh and Cole's was Snoopy.

One of my awesome Christmas presents!

Christmas was so much fun. But what I was waiting for was New Years because Cole had the whole week off! So we decided it would be a good time to get a few things done. For example, we didn't have a bed frame and I didn't want our bed on the floor. There was always one that we always had our eyes on. It was the MALM high bed frame from IKEA. (I didn't make the bed so no pics :)) IKEA here is always an experience. You are just praying that you can easily find what you are looking for without having to talk to anyone. In this case that did not happen. We searched and searched for the bed frame in the right size and color. With no luck. So the moment came when I had to make a choice whether to forget about it or ask someone. I saw the information desk and walked right up there and asked SPRECHIN SIE ENGLICSH? And to my surprise she said YES! She spoke English well enough that we could definitely understand each other. And we got it! Phew! We got it home and set it up and realized something was missing. The wooden pieces that replace the box spring came separately. So it was back to IKEA and we found it with ease. But this time we were hungry and decided to get the Swedish meatballs. They are so good. And we succeeded with some language difficulty but it was worth it!

Cole and I had been talking for a while about either getting a second car or one to replace the Cav (it was having some problems). We decided to get a loan so that Cole could build his credit. Cole has had problem with getting loans in the past because he doesn't have any credit in the first place. Even with me helping him it didn't work. Then we heard that the bank on base typically gave loans to those who didn't have any credit. So Cole tried it and it worked! Now we just had to find a car that fit in to all of our requirements. We searched and searched, and finally Cole called me from work saying he found an Audi! We went and met with the owner and fell in love. Awesome color, leather seats, all wheel drive, I mean it's a flipping Audi! So we got it and it has been the best!
Well, that pretty much catches you up. Life is really good. We are so grateful for all our many blessings.

Next to come is the Venice Carnivale! Super excited!

Love
